Welcome to the chess club. My name is John "Johnny Chess" Crissman and I live in Chicago, IL. I am a US Chess Expert/US Candidate Master (2000+), Marine Corps Veteran (Terminal Lance), Chess.com Coach, and I have been a chess coach in over 30 schools in the Chicago land area. I help students from absolute beginner to advanced (Class A USCF class players ~ 1800-1900). I also work with stronger players as a sparring partner.
