We're excited to announce a brand new way to bring real-time chess fun to your Chess.com clubs: live club tournaments! Administrators can now organize and create tournaments in live chess with ease for any of their clubs.

Each tournament will be exclusive to members of a selected club and can be tailored in other ways too. You can set the start time or date (at least an hour in the future), time control, number of players and rounds. Your club can even play fun tournaments, featuring chess variants like King of the Hill, 3 Check, or Crazyhouse!

And like those chess variants, live club tournaments are available in v3 only, so if you're not already using the new site, you can click here to try it out!

Setting up a tournament for your club is simple:

In live chess, club admins will see a new option on the tournaments list tab:

Click there to pick one of your clubs and see all your options:

Hit create and you're done! A new tournament will be at the top of the list, visible to all members of the club you chose.

Spread the word! Let your members know when and where the tournament is, and have fun!
