In about five minutes, the unique Remco Heite Chess Tournament starts. Unique, firstly because of the players in the invitation group: Vlastimil Hort, Robert H?ɬºbner, Artur Jussupow, Jan Timman, Loek van Wely and Jan Werle. Secondly because of the rate of play: 1 hour and 45 minutes for 35 moves and then 15 minutes for the rest of the game. (From that perspective, they look like games from a club night competition!) Chatting about the games is possible this weekend at this site!

The tournament only takes this weekend. The playing schedule:

First round (Friday 24 November 2006, 19.00?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú23.00 hrs) H?ɬºbner-Jussupow Van Wely-Hort Timman-Werle

Second round (Saturday 25 November 2006, 11.00?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú15.00 hrs) Jussupow-Werle Hort-Timman H?ɬºbner-Van Wely

Third round (Saturday 25 November 2006, 16.30?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú20.30 hrs) Van Wely-Jussupow Timman-H?ɬºbner Werle-Hort

Fourth round (Sunday 26 November 2006, 11.00?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú15.00 hrs) Jussupow-Hort H?ɬºbner-Werle Van Wely-Timman

Fifth round (Sunday 26 November 2006 16.30?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú20.30 hrs) Timman-Jussupow Werle-Van Wely Hort-H?ɬºbner

The games can be followed live here. That hyperlink can also be found on the right, in the grey column, where there will be a small chat screen as well during this weekend, where you can talk about the games! Because of spam (really) I had to remove the live shoutbox.
