So the 2010 World Chess Championship has gone the distance, with the players still locked together after 11 hard-fought games.

The match has been full of excitement and if neither player can win the final game, there will be rapid tie-breaks on Thursday to decide the result.  Whether the champion should be decided by rapid games is another question...

Topalov will be keen to make the most of the white pieces in the last game at classical time controls.  Most pundits favour the champion Anand if the match reaches rapid games, but he will have to survive game 12 first!

Game 12 starts at 12:00 GMT on 11 May. Chess.com will live coverage at Chess.com TV for Platinum and Diamond members. The official site will be broadcasting the games live.
