Anand's Simultaneous Slip

Vishy Anand recently beat his second Rustam Kasimdzhanov 3.5-0.5 in a rapid match in Tashkent. While he was in Uzbekistan, Anand also played a 24-game simultaneous exhibition against the very best Uzbek juniors and women.

The world champion achieved a creditable result, winning 16 games and drawing 6, but two of his opponents can now say that they have beaten the world champion.  They were Hulkar Tokhirjanova (left) and 11-year old (!) Temur Igonin.  The games and a news report are below.
