Unlock Exclusive Boards, Piece Sets, And Flairs With The New Monthly Bot Challenges
Playing against bots just got more fun! You now earn points every time you play against the monthly bots. Earn enough points to unlock exclusive chessboards, piece sets, and flairs that will last forever in your account! But hurry, because once the bots are gone, you won't be able to unlock them anymore.
This month, we invite you to go on an adventure in the woods to unlock the campfire and pawnshroom flairs, along with a nature-themed board and piece set.

Earn Points To Unlock Rewards
As usual, every month you'll find a new set of themed bots you can challenge on our Play Computer page. But now, you'll also earn points whenever you play against any of them. Earn enough points to complete the monthly challenges and unlock exclusive rewards for every challenge completed. You have until the last day of the month to complete the challenges before they're gone and replaced by a new set of bots, challenges, and rewards.

You can earn points even if you draw or lose against the bots, but winning will add more points to your balance. You'll also earn more points against stronger bots, and even more if you don't use hints or take back moves during the game.

Meet This Month's Opponents
This month, we're bringing a flavor of a nice stroll in the woods right to Chess.com. Meet fellow nature enjoyers and a somewhat dodgy bear with very specific nutritional needs and challenge them to a few games. Learn more about your new opponents below:
Birdwatcher
Playing strength: 300
The Birdwatcher knows the name of every bird in the forest and will happily identify all of them during your chess game, whether you ask or not.
The Hiker
Playing strength: 600
The Hiker loves the outdoors but is shockingly bad at hiking. Constantly lost yet endlessly cheerful, he treats every wrong turn as part of the adventure.
The Girl Scout
Playing strength: 900
Separated from her troop weeks ago, the Girl Scout has been surviving quite well in the woods. She'd still prefer a hot meal and an air-conditioned trip home.
The Bear
Playing strength: 1250
The Bear occasionally creates forest-related problems but would rather focus on finding something to eat. Preferably you.
The Park Ranger
Playing strength: 1800
The Park Ranger spends her days dealing with the park's mischievous wildlife. A challenging chess game is the most relaxing part of her shift.
