Another round, another win for Chess.com favourite Yelena Dembo who kept up the pressure on the leaders at the European Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

Yelena's victim this time was Tatiana Stepovaia from Russia who was despatched in a tricky Queen and Pawn ending.

Yelena is now in 6th place out of a field of 159 competitors with a score of 6/8 (4 wins and 4 draws).  3 rounds remain to be played and tomorrow Yelena faces Nataila Zukhova, seen below with her husband Alexander Grischuk, who is currently competing in the Grand Prix in Baku.
