Arctic Securities Chess Stars - Day 2
On the second day of the Arctic Securities Chess Stars event in Kristiansund, Norway, World Champion Vishy Anand repeated his strong results from the opening day to finish top of the qualifying rounds with a score of 5/6.
Magnus Carlsen also managed to qualify for the final match, but conceded a draw to Judit Polgar and lost to Jon Ludvig Hammer along the way to a 3.5/6 finish. Congratulations Jon!
So Monday will see matches between Vishy Anand and Magnus Carlsen for 1st/2nd place, and between Jon Ludvig Hammer and Judit Polgar for 3rd/4th.
Both matches start at 14:00 local time and live video coverage will be broadcast online here.
