Last weekend, for the third time in a row the Ooser Schachclub Baden-Baden has won the German team championships. We have videos again.

Without star players Vishy Anand, Peter Svidler, Alexei Shirov and Magnus Carlsen, Baden-Baden collected another three points (beating SF Katernberg 6-2 and drawing SV M?ɬºlheim-Nord 4-4), after which they became unreachable for rivals M?ɬºlheim and Bremen.

Current standings, with two more rounds to go:

All of a sudden, last Sunday there were some tense moments for the team from Baden-Baden, for the first time this year. They were down 4-3 against SV M?ɬºlheim-Nord, after Nisipeanu had lost to Vachier-Lagrave, and all the other games had ended in a draw. But it was Francisco Vallejo Pons, who had lost his Saturday game against Chuchelov, who cashed the decisive game point, equalizing the match, by mating Berelovich with bishop and knight. He wasn't exactly doing it according to the endgame textbooks, but it was mate in the end, and that's what counts.

Here are two videos, again thanks to IM Georgios Souleidis: Chuchelov's comment on the crazy timetrouble phase in his game against Vallejo, and then Vallejo himself, Sunday's match winner:
