One might expect a natural lull in the hectic pace of international chess events after the 2012 Olympiad, there are still tournaments taking place!

The Black Sea Countries Final 2012 tournament is now underway in Burgas, Bulgaria.

This 6-player double round-robin tournament runs from 12-19 September 2012 and has a more than respectable field headed by top seed Baadur Jobava of Georgia.
