This weekend marks the climax of the Schachbundesliga 2012/13 season. The 13th round was played yesterday (Friday) and the 14th and 15th rounds are played on Saturday and Sunday.
The Schachbundesliga is arguably the strongest national chess league in the world, with 272 top players from 30 countries competing for the 16 league teams.
The dominant team Baden-Baden have already sealed victory for the 8th season in a row by beating SG Trier 5-3 yesterday, but the weekend still promises lots of very high-quality games and an excellent live interface to follow the action.
