bundesliga_logo_2010.gifThis weekend sees the final two rounds of the 2011/12 season of the strongest chess league in the world, the German Bundesliga.

Leaders Baden-Baden look set to claim a remarkable seventh league title in a row after narrowly defeating nearest rivals Werder Bremen 4½-3½ in the last weekend of games.  They now need only one match win from their final two matches against Eppingen and Hockenheim.

Depending on their availability Baden-Baden can pick from Vishy Anand, Magnus Carlsen, Peter Svidler, Paco Vallejo Pons, Mickey Adams, Alexei Shirov, Etienne Bacrot and many more.

The 14th round is on Saturday at 14:00 local time (12:00 UTC), followed by the 15th (and final) round on Sunday at 10:00 (08:00 UTC). All games can be followed at the official website's excellent live interface.
