Calling all iOS users: Help us Test Version 4!
Hey all! Exciting news for those you play and train with the iOS version of Chess - Play & Learn. As Danny mentioned on yesterday's State of Chess.com Show, there's a major new version right around the corner - and if you'd like to help us out by beta-testing, you can get your hands on it today!
Of course, there are lots of good things yet to come, but we're super excited to release this first beta version of v4, which includes the following improvements:
- A new navigation model, replacing the unwieldy old hamburger menu with five smart new tabs at the bottom of the screen, a new landing screen for all Puzzle features, and a "More" tab with all other features, organized by category!
- An improved Home/Play screen that includes all the games and learning features as before, as well as Stats panels, improved alerts, Friends, and a great new look overall!
- Improved, more usable organization of Settings.
- You can check out the latest Chess news, events and broadcasts on the Live screen!
- A much improved sign-up experience for brand-new members.

If you'd like to beta-test the new app, the process is pretty simple: Clicking the link below will register you as a Tester and ask you to install an Apple app called TestFlight, which allows developers to distribute test builds to authorized users.
TestFlight will let you know when there are new versions to test and allow you to install them on your devices. It will also allow you to share your feedback with us directly - although we'll also be monitoring your Comments below!
