Magnus Carlsen continued to show that he is the class of the field by making his third win in four rounds at the Biel tournament in Switzerland.

Carlsen beat Fabiano Caruana to stretch his lead to four points (under the the Bilbao 3-1-0 scoring system that is in operation).  In contrast, Caruana now falls to last place.

The games between Alexei Shriov and Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, and Alexander Morozevich and Yannick Pelletier were both drawn.
