Magnus Carlsen finished the Biel tournament with a draw against Fabiano Caruana, having already won the title with a round to spare.

Alexander Morozevich ended a successful tournament with a win against Yannick Pelletier to secure second place.

Alexei Shirov and Maxime Vachier-Lagrave drew their final round game to finish the best of the rest.
