Carlsen Tops Unofficial Ratings
So Vladimir Kramnik won the 2009 Tal Memorial with a hugely impressive performance. He clearly seems determined to prove a point after his loss to Vishy Anand in their WCC match.
However, another headline from the event is that Magnus Carlsen has eclipsed Veselin Topalov from the top of the unofficial live rating list. Carlsen's wins in the final 2 rounds against Ponomariov and Leko did the trick.
