Caruana & Mamedyarov Win In Tashkent
The third round of the Tashkent FIDE Grand Prix produced two more decisive games in what promises to be a closely fought competition.
The joint winner of the first Grand Prix in London, Shakhriyar Mamedyarov, scored a nice win against Peter Svidler when the Russian got in a terrible tangle in the Gruenfeld Defence.
The other winner in the round 3 was Fabiano Caruana, bouncing back immediately from his loss to Morozevich yesterday. Caruana inflicted Gata Kamsky's second defeat.
