Here comes another Puzzle Week on Chess.com! In 2024 we are celebrating it the week of January 8 with Chess Played Quick and other puzzle-themed streamer events, culminating with the $25,000 Puzzles World Championship on January 11-12. One of Chess.com's newest traditions, Puzzle Week is the best time of year to get in touch with your tactical side in chess!

The full schedule of this year's events is as follows:

January 12 12 p.m. 18:00 Puzzles World Championship - Puzzle Battle KO

The celebration begins Monday with a puzzles edition of Chess Played Quick. Complete challenges and place as high as you can to try to earn some of the 800 subs available!

Tuesday and Wednesday will include more events based around Puzzle Rush. Streamers have all 24 hours on Tuesday and all day Wednesday to score as high as they can in five-minute and survival mode Puzzle Rush, respectively. There are 600 subs worth of prizes available each day.

The week concludes with the fifth Puzzles World Championship, a two-day event beginning Thursday.

Any player can apply to participate in the Puzzles World Championship by submitting a Twitch or YouTube clip showing a five-minute Puzzle Rush score of at least 50. You must achieve this score during Puzzle Week to participate.
