This weekend will be already the third Bundesliga weekend of this season. In the strong German club competition an absolute top match is scheduled: leader SV Werder Bremen will receive national champion OSC Baden Baden at the Weser Stadium (the home of football club Werder Bremen). The Bundesliga has invited ChessVibes to be present and of course we didn't reject. This afternoon I will jump into the train and with a bit of luck I will be able to provide some live reporting from Bremen this weekend.

The team from Baden has to do without some of their top players, because Shirov and Carlsen are still in the race for the World Cup. Svidler however has been eliminated but if he wants to join his team, he has to be quick. Possibly world champion Vishy Anand will lead his team. But Baden also has Bacrot, Movsesian, Vallejo Pons, Harikrishna, Naiditsch and Nielsen on the list. The home club has names such as McShane, Fressinet, Efimenko, Areshchenko, Kritz, Hracek en Babula and Meier. Both teams haven't lost yet and can reveal their ambitions on Saturday afternoon.

Except for OSC and the home club, vice champion Hamburg and Turm Trier will also travel to Bremen. Hamburg will meet Baden Baden on Sunday morning and with their wonderful second place last year, they made clear that they shouldn't be underestimated.

The games take place in the Business Lounge of the Weserstadion. We assume they have internet there. ;-)
