During the months May, June, July and August it's ChessVibes on tour! Editor-in-chief Peter Doggers took the time to spend all his energy on the game of chess for the coming four months. He will play many open tournaments throughout Europe and at the same time publish as many reports-on-location as possible.

At the moment of writing his schedule (2 May) looks like this:

3-11 May: participating in the open tournament in Salou, Spain 13-18 May: in action for ChessVibes in Sofia, Bulgaria (Mtel Masters) 19-26 May: participating in the open tournament of Porto Mannu, Sardinia (Italy) 27-30 May: Rome 1-15 June: participating in the First Saturday IM tournament in Budapest (Hungary) 16-22 June: Berlin 23-30 June: in action for ChessVibes in Dortmund, Germany (Sparkassen)

After this more tournaments will follow.

For you, visitors, ChessVibes on tour means slightly bad news but at the same time very good news. In the coming months the articles about the latest chess news will probably appear less frequently (although my co-editors may take all the liberty they need to pursue their writing ambitions.) As 'compensation for the sacrificed material' you will get on-the-spot photos, videos, little interviews and who knows what else. ChessVibes will enjoy a beautiful summer!

Okay, no I'll quickly pack my suitcase and head for the first location: Salou. ?Ǭ°Hasta luego!
