Don't forget to switch on your chess radio tonight, because you can listen to a true ChessVibes interview! I will be Dan Heisman's guest in his weekly Tuesday night show. You can listen to it at 23.00 CET (17.00 EDT), at Chess.FM, for which you need an ICC membership. But you can also just sign up (it's very easy) for a free trial and then listen along! Actually, you can ask along, since Heisman always lets the Chess.FM audience ask most of the questions.

Dan Heisman started doing his Q&A show in late 2001. There was a hiatus of about 10 months but otherwise it has been weekly (now twice a week) for about 5 years. Since his show went to twice a week, Heisman started to invite guests. Last month's guests have been NM Larry Tamarkin (Marshall Chess Club), GM Alex Baburin (Chess Today), Hanon Russell (Chess Cafe), IM Larry Kaufman, Mike Leahy (Bookup) and Dr. Mark Glickman (USCF Rating Committee Chairman). Previous guests include IM Jacob Aagaard (Quality Chess), Vasik Rajlich (Rybka) and Frank Camaratta (House of Staunton).

Dan Heisman is famous for his multi award-winning Novice Nook column at Chess Cafe. He wrote 8 chess books (the latest is coming out in 2 weeks) and the "Thinking Cap" articles at Jeremy Silman's website. He is CM with a 2285 FIDE rating. Since mine is 2247, I'm looking forward to an interesting fight tonight ;-)
