After five rounds of the 2012 Dortmund tournament there is a 3-way tie between Ruslan Ponomariov (pictured), Sergey Karjakin and 10-time winner Vladimir Kramnik on 3½ points.
Round four was uneventful and all games ended in draws, but round five provided much more interest, with wins being recorded by Sergey Karjakin, Fabiano Caruana and Arkadij Naiditsch.
Today (18th July) is a rest day - round six is on 19th July.
The standings after five rounds:
Sergey Karjakin beat Daniel Fridman
Fabiano Caruana won against Jan Gustafsson
The joint leaders before round 5, Vladimir Kramnik and Ruslan Ponomariov drew their game
Arkadij Naiditsch defeated last placed Mateusz Bartel after a long struggle

The 40th edition of the Dortmund Sparkassen runs from 13-22 July in Germany. The format is different to recent years - instead of a 6-player double round-robin it is a 10-player single round-robin, headed by Kramnik in search of an 11th title!
The rounds start each day at 15:00 local time (13:00 UTC), except the last round which starts 2 hours earlier. There is one rest day on the 18th July.
The time control is 40 moves in 100 minutes, then 20 moves in 50 minutes, and then 15 minutes to finish with a 30 second increment from the start of the game.
