Congratulations to my students for an amazing tournament today at Saint Louis Chess Club!!
~Samuel Lu--who finished with a perfect score, defeated two players rated higher than him and reached a new rating high of 1652!! He also won $50!!
~Liam Goddard--who finished with 3 points out of 4, defeated a much higher-rated opponent and reached a new rating high of 1325!
~Yash Shelar, who defeated two much higher-rated opponents and gained almost 200 rating points
~James Liu, who defeated a higher-rated opponent and gained rating points
