Congratulations for April 9!!

Congratulations to my amazing students!

~Double congratulations to Sudeep Vadderaju for an amazing performance at Foxwoods!! He drew against players rated 2140 and 2052 and defeated a player rated 2074!!! He raised his rating to 1838!!! He also twice defeated a WFM rated 2100 twice in a blitz tournament at Foxwoods!!

~Josh Thomadsen who defeated an opponent rated 500+ higher than him in the Ladder event at St. Louis Chess Club. He gained 60+ rating points and reached a new rating high
~Divish Dhanalakota who drew against a much higher-rated opponent and gained rating
~Alvin He who beat two higher-rated opponents and drew another and gained rating
~Ishaan Sinha who tied for second place out of 21 people in the upper group of the Thursday event hosted by the Chess Cardinals Club. He defeated a much higher-rated opponent and gained 40+ rating points
