Corus Starts Today!

As previewed recently, the Corus Chess festival in the Netherlands starts today, including three strong single-round robin tournaments.  The opening ceremony and draw was held yesterday and there are some very nice pictures available at the official site.

The most anticipated clash of round 1 is arguably the pairing of Magnus Carlsen and Teimour Radjabov.  Sparks usually fly when these guys meet, so let's hope that first round caution, nerves or rustiness don't prevent the usual slugfest.

The full schedules are now available for the A Group, B group, and C Group.  Games start at 13:30 CET (7:30 EST).  Live Games are being relayed at this page on the official site.
