Dominguez Wins Capablanca Memorial

The 44th Capablanca Memorial tournament was held in Havana from 8-18 June.

In the elite group, Leinier Dominguez (pictured) was the top seed, and he won the 6-player double round-robin event with a score of 6.5/10.  Dominguez clinched the victory with an impressive final round win against his nearest rival, Georg Meier of Germany.
