Rounds 5-8
We already knew that Nana Dzagnidze started strongly in Jermuk: 3.5/4. Quite amazingly, she added four more wins, reaching a devastating 7.5/8. With three rounds to go the Georgian grandmaster is 1.5 points ahead of the winner of the previous GP: Tatiana Kosintseva from Russia. Hou Yifan (China) and Lilit Mkrtchian (Armenia) share third place with 5/8.We've come to get accustomed to male top players reaching 2900 TPRs, but for a female player with a rating in the 2400s it's quite amazing. It's a coincidence, but Dzagnidze hasn't met any of the Chinese participants yet. Perhaps they can stop her? Especially the last round, with Dzagnidze-Hou Yifan, could be interesting.![FIDE Women Grand Prix Jermuk 2010 | Round 8 Standings](https://images.chesscomfiles.com/proxy/www.chessvibes.com/tabellen/jermukwomgp_r8/http/6af997a0da.jpg)
