FIDE Amend Ratings: Nakamura is #6
FIDE has released a correction to the latest official chess rating list, issued on 1 July, this time including the games played in the match between Hikaru Nakamura (pictured) and Ruslan Ponomariov in May.
As a result, Nakamura rises from #9 to #6, and Ponomariov falls from #7 to #10.
Good news for Nakamura, and nice to see that the error was rectified.
The official top 10 now looks like this:
