FIDE Candidates Matches begin in Elista

The FIDE Candidates Matches are set to begin on Sunday, 27th May and will continue until the closing ceremony on the 14th June.  This 16 player KO event will decide which 4 players will qualify to join Anand, Kramnik, Svidler and Morozevich in the World Championship being held in Mexico City in September.
