Anand is the new world Champion! He was undefeated throughout the event and finished on a +4 score.

 

The final round games were:

GM Anand - GM Leko, 1/2-1/2

GM Kramnik - GM Aronian, 1-0

GM Svidler - GM Grischuk, 1-0

GM Morozevich - GM Gelfand, 1/2-1/2

 

The final standings:

1) GM Anand (9/14)

2-3) GM Kramnik, GM Gelfand (8/14)

4) GM Leko (7/14)

5) GM Svidler (6.5/14)

6-7) GM Morozevich, GM Aronian (6/14)

8) GM Grischuk (5.5/14)
