Vladimir Kramnik switched back to 1.Nf3 and Lev Aronian was able to comfortably gain equality. It seemed that the rest of the game would be without interest, but there was a flurry of activity near the end, before a repetition of moves brought proceedings to a finish.
The final game is tomorrow (Saturday) which starts 2 hours earlier at 13:00 local time (11:00 UTC) and Aronian will have the white pieces. Will there be an exciting finish or will the match end on a quiet note? We will find out soon...
