Surprise, surprise! Last seeded, Jan "Gusti" Gustafsson grabbed sole lead today in Dortmund by beating Van Wely with Black in just 18 moves. Video interview added. Ivanchuk beat Naiditsch and Mamedyarov-Kramnik and Leko-Nepomniachtchi were drawn.

Firstly, here are the games of the fifth round with some notes. Below you'll find a video report of the first day in Dortmund, including an interview with the leader of the tournament, Jan Gustafsson, taken right after his win against Van Wely.
