In the open groep tournament leader Jan Werle was beaten on theoretical grounds yesterday. He didn't know about a certain game between Gelfand and Aroniand while Postny did. l'Ami won his round 5 and 6 games and shares the lead with Postny now.

Today especially Reinderman-Peng was exciting. After the game both GM's entered the press room and together with a third one (Luc Winants) we looked at the game on my laptop, with Rybka running on the background. Here's the result of our labour:

Peter Doggers joined a chess club a month before turning 15 and still plays for it. He used to be an active tournament player and holds two IM norms. Peter has a Master of Arts degree in Dutch Language & Literature. He briefly worked at New in Chess, then as a Dutch teacher and then in a project for improving safety and security in Amsterdam schools.
