Only three weeks ago Hou Yifan turned fourteen, and today she won the first Atat?ɬºrk International.

We left the tournament after six rounds, when Ekaterina Atalik was leading with 5 out of 6. In round 7, Pia Cramling won the crucial game against Atalik while Hou Yifan defeated Irina Krush. The two players were sharing first place with 5.5 points.

In the penultimate round, Atalik lost again, to Hou Yifan who thereby secured at least shared first place, because Cramling lost to Javakhishvili. In the final round, Hou Yifan drew here game against Jakashvili and eventually won the first edition of the Atat?ɬºrk International Women Masters by a full point margin to Pia Cramling.
