Humpy Koneru won her game in the penultimate round of the FIDE Ankara Women's Grand Prix to ensure a nailbiting finish to the tournament and the series!

Humpy Koneru must win the Ankara Grand Prix to finish above Anna Muzychuk in the overall Grand Prix standings and claim the right to be the challenger for the women's world championship in 2013 (assuming Hou Yifan retains her title in the 2012 KO championship).

In the case of tied scores, Grand Prix points are shared by the players, so Humpy Koneru must finish with more points than Anna Muzychuk.

In the final round Humpy Koneru has the white pieces against Monika Socko, while Anna Muzychuk has black against Ruan Lufei.
