kvq-banner.jpgDespite the Kings and Queens having a very similar average rating, the rapid tournament at the St.Louis Chess Club and Scholastic Center has a very one-sided scoreline after three rounds.

After the Kings won the first round 7-3, the Queens recovered to steady the ship with a 5-5 draw in the second round. However, the round three result was an even more decisive 8-2 victory for the Kings, leaving them 20-10 ahead.

Unsurprisingly, Hikaru Nakamura leads the individual standings with 5½/6.
