In the rapid match between Vladimir Kramnik and David Navara (pictured) for the Cez Chess Trophy, Kramnik extended his lead to 3.5-0.5 by winning the third game and drawing the fourth.

There is now a rest day before the remaining 4 games are played, which will no doubt be a relief to Navara.

This event should be useful match practice for Kramnik who will face sterner opposition later this year when he plays Vishy Anand for the World Chess Championship.
