Kramnik Secures 10th Dortmund Title

A draw with Anish Giri in 28 moves was enough for Vladimir Kramnik to secure an incredible 10th Dortmund title with a round to spare.

Kramnik's tournament performance rating so far is well over 2900 Elo, and this has pushed his live rating back to around 2800 Elo and #4 in the rankings.

In the other games in round nine, Hikaru Nakamura finally scored his first win of the event by beating Georg Meier, and Ruslan Ponomariov versus Le Quang Liem ended in a draw.
