Magnus wins again to emerge victorious

Peter Leko will no doubt rue his missed chances as Magnus Carlsen closed out the match with another win on the final day to end victorious by a score of 5-3.

We will never know if Magnus would have played another Sicilian Dragon as Leko chose to open 1.d4.  Magnus replied with the Slav defense and a level game followed until Leko blundered by snatching a pawn with 42.Qxb6.

Magnus gave chase to the King, driving it all over the board until Leko had no choice but to resign.  Before the match Carlsen had never won against Leko, but he nevertheless emerged the winner.  Bravo Magnus!
