Hungarian GM Peter Leko (pictured) challenges Israeli GM Boris Gelfand to an 8-game rapid match in Miskolc, Hungary.

The match takes place from 25-29 August, with two rapid games played per day except the rest day on 27 August.  The time control is 25 minutes plus a 10 second increment.

This is the sixth annual rapid match that Leko has played, with previous results being a 4-4 draw with Michael Adams (2005), a 4.5-3.5 win against Karpov (2006), a 4.5-3.5 loss to Kramnik (2007), a 5-3 loss to Carlsen (2008) and a 5-3 loss to Anand (2009).
