Alexander Morozevich (pictured) impressively beat Wang Yue in both their blindfold and rapid games in round 2 to join Lev Aronian in a share of the overall lead in Nice.

Other players moving up the leaderboard were Vishy Anand who beat Kamsky in their rapid game, and Kramnik who overcame Radjabov in their blindfold encounter.

Aronian blundered against Leko - even the best players can forget where the pieces are in a blindfold game!  But he recovered to gain revenge in the rapids.
