Morozevich loses, Tomashevsky half point behind

It had to go wrong at some point. Today, and with the White pieces, the steam locomotive called Morozevich was put to a halt by Dreev. Moro probably played for a win too long, and this is only to his credit of course. After defeating Amonatov, Tomashevsky has narrowed the gap with the leader to a half point and so the last two rounds of the Russian Championships will be quite tense. Tairova leads the women section, also by a half point. New fragments.

In this round 8 & 9 report the game Svidler-Morozevich is not included because we already covered it in the previous article on the Russian Ch.
