Nakamura Extends Reggio Emilia Lead
Hikaru Nakamura has extended his lead at the 2011/12 Reggio Emilia tournament in Italy with another win in round six.
Nakamura won for the second time against last-placed Nikita Vitiugov to put himself in a commanding lead.
His closest challengers Alexander Morozevich and Vassily Ivanchuk both lost today and now have a mountain to climb to catch the American.
As a result of his strong results so far, Nakamura is up to #5 in the live rankings!
