We have just received, from our friends at Quality Chess, a brand new title: Playing the Queen's Gambit.

Danish GM Lars Schandorff recognizes that the QG allows some serious defences, and has based his repertoire entirely on critical and reliable mainlines.

Within those mainlines, he consistently chooses the lines which provide a maximum of initiative. You will seize space, occupy the centre, and get your pieces to active squares by employing:

-- Bg5 against the Semi-Slav -- 6.Ne5 versus the 5... Bf5 main line Slav -- 3.e4 against the QG Accepted -- the Exchange versus the QG Declined -- 5.c5 against the 4. ...a6 Slav -- while the Tarrasch, Chigorin, Albin and minor lines are met with the same vigour.

This is an effective, accessible, complete, reliable and aggressive repertoire for White after 1.d4 d5 2.c4.
