The opening two rounds of the Unive Tournament crown group at Hoogeveens have yet to produce a decisive game, but have not been without interest, as the very different competitors battle it out.

Judit Polgar (pictured) came closest to breaking the deadlock so far, but Vassily Ivanchuk earned a draw.  It's great to see Judit back at the board, and hopefully we will see more games from her in future events.

There is also a strong Open event taking place alongside the showpiece crown group.  More details are available at the official site.
