Peter Svidler (pictured) has won the Russian 'Superfinal' Championship for the 5th time in his career.  The event finished in a three-way tie as previously reported and the tiebreak playoff between Svidler, Jakovenko and Alekseev took place today.

The format of the tie-break was a rapid (15 mins plus 5 sec/move) double-round robin.

The results were:
