'Rising Stars' Too Hot In Amsterdam

There is a saying that "Experience is what causes a person to make new mistakes, not old ones".  Unfortunately for the 'Experience' team at the NH Tournament in the Netherlands, chess seems to have a virtually infinite number of new mistakes to make, no matter how experienced you are.

After 3 rounds the young talents in the 'Rising Stars' team are thrashing the 'Experience' team by a staggering score of 12-3.  None of the 'Experience' team have been able to win a game so far.

In round 2 the score was 4.5-0.5 with only Ljubomir Ljubojevic managing a draw, whilst the third round loss of 3.5-1.5 was amazingly the best result to date for an overwhelmed 'Experience' team.

Artur Jussupow with his daughter, Ekaterina:

It's a shame that the contest is proving so one-sided so far.  Perhaps the 45-year old Garry Kasparov could be persuaded take time out from his political ambitions to step in and strengthen the 'Experience' side!  Probably not...

The results in round 2:

Wang Yue - Agdestein, Simen 1-0 35 A84 Dutch
