'Rising Stars' vs 'Experience' Final Result
It's an entertaining concept for a tournament, but the organisers are going to have to consider boosting the relative strength of the 'Experience' team in future years. For the third year in a row, and this time by a devastating 33.5-16.5 margin, the 'Rising Stars' won the NH Chess Tournament in Amsterdam.
The final round was another victory for the 'Rising Stars', with Fabiano Caruana beating Simen Agdestein and Erwin L'Ami overcoming Viktor Korchnoi.
Wang Yue (pictured) finished on a fantastic 8.5/10 and thus qualifies for an invite to next years Melody Amber tournament.
