Vanuit Turijn namen we natuurlijk koffers vol materiaal mee. Van Alexei Shirov, de in Spanje woonachtige aanvalskunstenaar uit Letland, had ik nog een filmpje liggen. Toen ik tijdens de Olympiade een keer langs de analyseruimte op weg was naar de bar, zag ik hem opeens analyseren met zijn tegenstander Bartosz Socko. Ze waren net begonnen. Het is in het Russisch maar toch denk ik dat het wel aardig is om even naar te kijken!

Peter Doggers joined a chess club a month before turning 15 and still plays for it. He used to be an active tournament player and holds two IM norms. Peter has a Master of Arts degree in Dutch Language & Literature. He briefly worked at New in Chess, then as a Dutch teacher and then in a project for improving safety and security in Amsterdam schools.
