Yesterday morning I had an interview with GM Simen Agdestein. It was about his appearance in the Norwegian version of Dancing with the Stars, about his football career, about him playing the piano and of course about Carlsen, lots of Magnus Carlsen.

That Simen Agdestein from Norway can play decent chess, you knew already. And that he's coaching quite a famous young boy, is a known fact too. Even the fact that he used to be a professional soccer player, is common knowledge. But did you know he can also play the piano?

Here's an in-depth interview (27 min.) with the Norwegian grandmaster.

Agdestein told a lot about Carlsen's career so far, but if you want to know more about it, we can certainly recommend his book Wonderboy.
