Simen Agdestein on Magnus Carlsen
Yesterday morning I had an interview with GM Simen Agdestein. It was about his appearance in the Norwegian version of Dancing with the Stars, about his football career, about him playing the piano and of course about Carlsen, lots of Magnus Carlsen.That Simen Agdestein from Norway can play decent chess, you knew already. And that he's coaching quite a famous young boy, is a known fact too. Even the fact that he used to be a professional soccer player, is common knowledge. Peter Doggers joined a chess club a month before turning 15 and still plays for it. He used to be an active tournament player and holds two IM norms.
Peter has a Master of Arts degree in Dutch Language & Literature. He briefly worked at New in Chess, then as a Dutch teacher and then in a project for improving safety and security in Amsterdam schools.
